ehhh Im still runnin Xp Pro, but had the same problem as those on Vista… still wouldnt connect… So I updated my media player, then un-installed the sansa e250 in device manager which had the the yellow ? after it. (make sure your sansa isnt connected when you do the uninstall) Here’s the part that worried me since I got the Sansa second hand without a drivers disc, would it install properly, an it did. Just plugged it up, found the new hardware an auto installed the drivers for it, so all is well. Hope this helps in some way.
There is no drivers disc. The Sansa runs on the basic Windows USB driver (in MSC mode) or in drivers that come with Windows Media Player 10 or 11 (in MTP mode). Amazing, isn’t it–a gadget that’s not dependent on some proprietary driver.
There is the Sansa Media Converter for converting video files to the bite-sized nuggets the Sansa can handle, but that’s best found online.
