Updated Secure Access Vault - Lost files afterwards :(

So I recently opened Secure Access Vault - a pop up appeared saying I needed to update. So I clicked update and let it finish (I clicked close and let it refresh). I clicked on the Secure Access Vault icon again and I immediately have access without entering my password. Also I am met with several folders and files like index.dat file, keychain.dat, etc. And in each folder I have several files that I can’t open. How do I get my files back.
