I’m having a problem with sansa media converter and the fuze. I’ve tried everything from changing the USB settings on my Fuze, reinstalling SMC and even changing USB outlets. I never had this problem with my Sansa e260, SMC always recognized it. I’m wondering if Sansa Fuze and SMC are compatible. Is there an update for SMC or another media converter that is com[patible with Fuze. ANY AND ALL HELP APPRECIATED.
You need to udate the SMC to the newest version. Go to the home page and select MP3 players. When the fuze comes up select downloads and SMC for fuze. Once you download that version SMC will recognize the fuze. You also may want to update your firmware also.
