Can't get the media converter to recognise my fuze

I plug it in, bring up the Sansa media converter but it won’t recognise the fuze therefore I am unable to install photos or videos. everything else works on the converter but it won’t let me convert. Thanks Bob.

Is the Fuze in MTP mode?  If not, then try putting it in MTP mode…Settings/System Settings/USB Mode/MTP.  See if this helps.

I find SMC very useless and hard to use, for JPEG pictures i use WMP 11 to convert them  to the Fuze and for movies i use AVC.
