Screen is white and I can't see menu or anything

The screen is white and does not display anything.  Not the start up or the good-byes.  Its just white.  Any help is appreciated.

Have you tried sliding the spring-loaded ON switch up and holding it for about 10 - 15 seconds to reset it?

yes.  It still is white. I even tried to format it.  No changes.

Is this a new player?

Did this ‘white screen’ business just start?

Did it start coincidentally just after loading some music onto it? You might try running ChkDsk on it in case you got a corrupted file on it somehow.

Plan B - Call SanDisk Tech Support.

Plan C - Exchange it for a new one.
