Yes sure, I’m aware of this way to fix, but as I have many albmus which are tagged by standardly it’s a little pain in the ass to always rename and retag these albums just for my Fuze.

most players I know don’t support that tag. Does the other company with a fruit logo’s product even support it?
I’m not sure. Though I had iPod 5g previously, but I used it with Rockbox exclusively and everything worked as charm. But a quick googling tells me, that the iPod handles TPOS properly.
EDIT:
I should post this to the feature request thread. Don’t know why I didn’t see it earlier.

Maybe _most_ players do not support it. But the original Fuze (v1 and v2) support it and that is one point why it is an excellent device for audiobooks. My audiobooks often consists of 6 or more CDs and they are tagged like this. It is really no fun to listen to track 1 of CD 1, next to track 1 of CD 2 and so on.
So I can understand why people do not understand that the new Fuze+ does not support those features of the old version. As a potential buyer of the new Fuze+ I am also a little shocked.
I am software engineer and always thought software is developed in modules and packages. So I even do not understand why the new Fuze+ software seems to be developed from scratch. To be honest the original Fuze did not support the CD tag in the first SW versions.
Ciao banty
Hi guys ,
I use fuze+ about 1 month and I see it has unneccessary effects and more colourful menu. My idea is they should be removed for more performance because it is just a mp4 player that has not a powerful processor or menu may be clean and transparent are like glass design for example, aero. … By the way, sorry for my english.I improve it new

Also it’s not a very hard feature to implement. Just one more tag to read and priorisation of this tag in the sorting algorithm. It doesn’t need much memory or time and is quite trivial and yet useful.
Can podcasts be made to be listed by
track number
file name
Currently it simply lists according to track title, which is obviously not the most useful way.

Not exactly.

I am.
Yes. I am having the same problem.
I plugged my unit in a got the notice of the update. When I notice that the Audiobook section was added. I added one book. The menu for this one book stuck me odd. I added 5 books and the New Testament. In Audiobook I have one book with 425 mp3 files. They are not in any predictable order. I move all of my books back to the podcast section.
The person that created the audiobook section may have only owned one audiobook.
I see some put there books in the music section. I have found that some of my books will only reasonably sort in the music section and other books will sort reasonably in the podcast section. I thought that maybe SanDisk gave the user some setup options that would allow books to be sorted by file name or file title. This was not in the update. Maybe next time.
Many days later
I wanted to delete this entry completely but the delete feature was not active. This section is only half as dumb as I thought. If you add files using Explore they do sort poorly. If you move them into this section from with in the player they do play in a more reasonable order. It just play all books in this section as one book. The person that created this section is not all bad.
reason TPOS works in Fuze V1,V2 is probably becuase of firmware updates just like looped menus. Give them time.
Thank you for this update, it has addressed many of the problems I have had since I purchased the Fuze+ 6 weeks ago. Keep up the good work
Thanks again
Enhancements
Bugs Fixed
These are MAJOR enhancement/fixes for me. The lowering volume and locking mechanic were especially annoying. Joined the forum just to say thanks for this great update!
Mine is still possesed by Satan’s touchpad (and power button). I have gone back to my old Fuze.
All I will now do with my Plus is add firmware updates in the vain hope that Sansa will eventually fix it.
The previous Fuze pretty much worked from day-1. Perhaps Sansa could ressurect an updated View, but without the screw-ups of the F+. The View pretty much worked out-of-the-box as well.
NVM time ticks correctly with this update.
Please tell me that Sansa is working on the touchpad issues and that it will be in the next firmware releases or else I’m going to go back to myorginal fuze and sulk.
I’m still getting a few video issues.
I convert mine to mp4 using Any Video Converter which seems to be the recommended app on here. When I first turn on, sometimes the play bar doesn’t hide itself, the video freezes but audio carries on. If you catch it in time you can pause, exit and re-open the video and it normally carries on OK. If you don’t catch it in time the device hangs and you get a machine gun noise in the ears as the audio loops. NiCE.
I have the new Firmware in the player. I just verified it. What I need to know is what to do now to get the new lock situation going. Can you give me some step by step instructions? I sure would appreciate it.
