Sansa Fuze 4gb Nav. Wheel Doesn't Work

The Home button works, the Right and Left arrow functions work, but when I’ve selected a menu I cannot scroll up and down to select the submenues. The Down and Up functions on the Nav. Wheel either don’t work at all, or the screen responds after about 10 or 15 seconds.

I’ve tried reseting the firmware by holding the on/off switch in the on position for 10 seconds. This has not helped.

It appears that the Nav. Wheel is not functioning. It could be that updating the firmware would help, but I cannot navigate down to the Settings/System Settings menu to do so.

Please advise.

Does the wheel turn?, This is how you scroll up and down in the menu and submenu screens.

You can also press the UP and Down to scroll to the menus of the palyer. :wink:
