Using Windows XP and Windows media player. Previously I connect my Sansa and the device shows up when I connect the Sansa. Now I connect the Sansa and it shows “Connected” with the arrows going back and forth. It worked many times before. But now on the Media Player I do not detect the device. What gives?

Well, yes it is the same problem. I set the USB mode to MSC as I did before. But no dice. I have been using Window Media Player all this time. Is it time to buy a new one?
