Hello
I been havin problems with my Sansa e250 every time I turn it on it freezes on the Refresh Database screen. I tried shut it off and turning it back on but same thing happens. I even tried downloading and using the Sansa Updater Installer but it can’t find the device so what are my options? Please Help
Most likely garbage in the ID3 tags or the wrong format tags altogether. Do a search; there are multiple threads discussing this. Best to get MP3Tag and give’em a once over.
If it still happens, one or more of the files themselves may be corrupted. In that case ChkDsk or Error-Checking will be your friend.
