My mp3 sansa clip has been working since christmas, now when i turn it on it says. not enough space for music db, please free 30mg. then shuts off. i don’t know how to fix it or remove anything. need help

Turn off the CLip.
Set the lock switch to Hold.
Press and hold center button.
COnnect to USB (should connect in MSC mode)
Right click the device and Format it.
Unplug the clip and hopefully it boots. Re format from device, navigate to the Settings>Format> Yes.
