This is going to sound weird, but i got my frozen sandisk clip to turn on in a strange way. I put a tiny smear of lightly soapy water into the plug part that goes into the side. Plugged it into the outlet while holding the on button. Voila!!

That’s definitely creative! Just a small heads-up — using any liquid, even soapy water, on electronics can be risky and might cause corrosion or damage over time. If your Clip freezes again, it’s safer to try a soft reset (holding the power button for 20-30 seconds) or charging it through a different cable or outlet. Glad it worked for you this time though!

Thank you for the information.
Attempt a forced reset. If unsuccessful, connect the device to a power source using the original data cable and charger for 30 minutes to activate the battery. If it still does not work, apply for warranty service.
