Sandisk vault appears resetting and my saved files vanished.

Hi guys, i have a big problem with my very important files saved on the vault of my new-purchased usb sandisk. It seems like the unit has a defect or something… When I opened the vault it seems like I’m setting up again the vault while I used it already and have important files saved on it. To my surprised when as I proceed, it really was setting up new. My files are vanished and it feels like, "oh my God, i thought it is secured! " guys pls help me what to do with my sandisk to restore me back my files. Your help is greatly appreciated…
