SanDisk Ultra 64GB USB 3.0 show full disk after 20GB transfer

Hello everyone,

I’ve recently bought a brand new SanDisk Ultra 64GB USB 3.0 device, after transfering 20GB I keep getting message that the divce is out of memory!

Even though I can see in “properties” that there is more than 30GB free space.

I would appreciate if someone can help.

Could be a counterfeit card. You should probably check it with h2testw.

Just curios here Keramos, where did you buy this flash drive?

are any of the files you are trying to transfer larger than 4GB? if so the FAT32 file system does not support a single file larger than 4GB and if you try to transfer that is the message you will get. If this is the case just format the drive in exFAT

That brings up an interesting point.  The drives are manufactured as exFAT, did the OP format them before using them?
