Sandisk endurance 256Gb a dud for dash cam

This is an issue regarding a brand-new SanDisk High Endurance 256GB microSD card that was defective out of the box (DOA).

Purchase & Case Details:

  • Product: SanDisk High Endurance 256GB microSD Card
  • Seller: Nex Digitron LLP
  • Purchase Date: 3 July 2026
  • Delivery Date: 8 July 2026
  • Issue Reported: 14 July 2026
  • Case #: 10607605
  • Reference #: 260713-001939

The microSD card failed from the very beginning and could not be used in my dashcam. As a result, my dashcam has remained unusable despite purchasing a product specifically marketed for high-endurance recording applications.

I reported the issue on 14 July 2026 and raised an RMA request for a replacement. However, despite the case being open, I have not received any meaningful update regarding the replacement.

I spent 4 hrs at the drop box location to drop the micro sd card for replacement

What is most disappointing is that I am being asked to rely on the warranty process for a product that was defective from day one. Customers should not have to go through an extended RMA process because of a manufacturing or quality control defect in a brand-new product.

As of today:

  • The defective microSD card has not been replaced.
  • I have not received a satisfactory update on my RMA.
  • I have been unable to use my dashcam due to this issue.

I purchased a SanDisk High Endurance card expecting reliability and prompt after-sales support. Unfortunately, this experience has fallen well short of those expectations.

Where did you buy the card?
