Failed Card Replacement and Poor customer service at SanDisk
I contacted SanDisk Customer Support on Aug 27, 2025 and submitted a case for a replacement card for the one that had failed. I submitted all required documentation and the RMA was approved. I sent the card back to SanDisk as requested and it was delivered to SanDisk on Sept 8, 2025.
Since that time I’ve been in communication with SanDisk Customer Support. They claim that I sent back a 256GB card. This is untrue. I’ve never owned a 256GB card. I sent in the defective 1TB card, the same one as the original photos I submitted. It appears that the receiving warehouse has gotten my 1TB card mixed up with another customer’s 256GB card
I am extremely disappointed and unhappy with the poor service I’ve received from SanDisk
**UPDATE 10/25/2025 **
Without any additional communication from SanDisk, I was mailed a 1TB replacement card. I’m glad that SanDisk ultimately did the right thing, although it’s too bad that I had to be so persistent with elevating my case (which was very difficult) and to post a negative review.
