Sandisk Clip+ Problems

I have had issues with the display on my Clip+. Sometimes when I hold the power button down for about 5 seconds, the music will start playing, but the screen won’t show anything. Not sure WTH is going on. The other night at the gym I was trying to skip a song when the it was playing without the display and I don’t know what I did, but it stopped playing. I think I might have hit a button that took me to some menu (that I can’t see because of no display). I have had this happen before, but then when I would hit a button after waiting for a while, the screen would come back on, even though hitting buttons initially would do nothing.

Now, the screen on my Clip+ will not come on when I connect it to the PC. The PC window that displays the Clip+ status says it’s nearly at 100% charge. When I disconnect it from the PC, I can’t get the unit to play music. I’m not sure if it’s turning on because the screen doesn’t display anything.

Any help would be appreciated.

Are you able to manually reapply the latest firmware (see the firmware upgrade sticky thread at the top of the forum)?  That sometimes can fix issues.

Sounds like an internal hardware issue in need of replacement. Is it still under warranty?
