Hi there - my first post…
How do I remove the preloaded tracks on my Fuze? Removing them via the player or when connected to my PC doesn’t seem to work.
Many thanks in advance.

format unit.
That did the trick. Many thanks.
The preloaded tracks are transferred in MTP mode.
If you are connected to the PC in MSC mode, the preloaded music is not available on the PC side. This is one of the peculiarities of the MTP design, as files transferred in one mode are not available in the alternate mode. The Sansa sees the files regardless of mode.
Erasing these files requires MTP mode, or use of the Format command on the device, which clears everything.

I have a question relating to this. Just how do I delete the preloaded tracks in MTP mode? and 2. Are you referring to stuff like Windows Media Player/WinAMP when you refer to MTP Mode?

Go to the music folder, select them, and delete them. WMP needs the player in MTP mode to work with it, but unprotected files can also be dragged and dropped to the player while the player is connected in MTP mode.
I got it already from just deleting them via the delete function off the player. thx for your help anyway.
