Problems updating 240GB Extreme

Hi,

I have just taken deliver of an Extereme 240GB and have tried to update it to the latest firmware. I downloaded the updater from the web site (v1.0.0.1) and it detects the drive stating an installed firmware version of R201. However, when I try and update the firmware, using the ‘Check for Updates’ option it returns the error:

Invalid firmware update found.

I have tried re-downloading the updater, but get the same error.

Can anyone please help? I don’t think I’ve done anything wrond, but a forum search does not show anyone else seeing this error.

Hey maybe you should try it wiht this one, thats the lates and manuell version.

Make sure you download the corect firmware so for you the 240GB version!
