Which Fuze do you have??
4GB Fuze come with 2 albums (20 songs)
- DJ Rap “Bulletproof” 10 tracks
-Yanni “Live at the Acropolis” 10 tracks
8GB Fuze comes with 18 different artists each contributing a single.
If you need the setlist, just lemme know which Fuze you have
Oh, I have the same question-- I accidentally deleted all the preloaded songs off my 8gb Fuze. Thanks for your help.
I don’t have the links handy, but there are a few other threads regarding the sample tunes that come installed on the Fuze, and one or more of the replies included all the artists and songs. You might utilize the search function here.
Unfortunately, there is nowhere that I know of to download them again (for free) in case of accidental deletion.
Is it legal to upload them online? For someone other than Sandisk.
Since they are ‘given’ away on the Fuze (or any new Sansa player for that matter), I would assume there are no copyright issues on them, so they should be able to be ‘legally’ shared.
Technically you they werent given to you with the fuze you paid for them. I see no conflict. The thing you may run in to though is finding them. The songs I got were not singles from mainstreem bands on major labels, I am not sure Limewire or the like might not work. An Idea for Snadisk is perhaps a torrent file that can be accessed from this site when you register for the board containing the “Free Music” for each product.

That assumption would be dangerous, they could well have been licenced by SanDisk to allow them to include them on the Fuze. Each sale of a Fuze would have a bit going back to the artist.
Microsoft ‘gives away’ Internet Explorer but you can bet your ar*e that they would jump from a great height with big boots on if you violated their copyright.

That certainly is possible and maybe that’s why they are not linked to anywhere here on the forum or located anywhere on the Sansa support website for re-downloading.
Anybody who wants mine though, is welcome to them. Just come over & get them.
Fact is, I couldn’t get rid of them fast enough. But I did keep a copy on the computer in case I turned around and sold it or gace it away as a gift, I could return the player to a like-new condition.
