Hello. I was downloading an album and I was having trouble. I switched my clip from one usb to another port and now it is not recognized and my clip will not play or reveal anything but the SanDisk logo. I think it lost its memory. What can I do? I can no longer download to it or listen to what I already had on it.
Reset your clip by holding the power botton up, until it turns off and see if it will detected in MSC mode.
MSC mode instructions:
1. Turn on the Clip
2. Put the device in Hold (move Hold button until orange is showing)
3. Press and hold the Center Button
4. Plug the mini-USB connector into the device (be sure the USB is plugged into the computer)
5. Wait for the Clip drive to mount
If the player would still be detected by the computer, try loading the firmware by following the instruction on the link below.

One needs to be careful not to detach a computer peripheral when the peripheral and computer are communicating; perhaps that’s what occurred. Try the re-set mentioned above; you also may need to reformat (Settings/format), or via your computer.
