Micro SD Card Not Detected

I have an e260 v2 with Rockbox 3.7 installed. Was working fine until I recently added a 16GB Micro SD card. The System Info indicates that a MSD Not Present, even though it’s inserted.

Error message continually shows after booting it up: “micro sd init failed : -2”

I assume that it is not able to inialize the card? Is there a way to solve this problem?

Is this a new card, or one that has worked in the past? Are you sure it’s a genuine, and not counterfeit or defective card?

You can check it with h2testw.

It’s new, but yes I did test it with h2testw before I used the card.
