Menu button stuck

Hello all - Just wondering if anyone can help. I bought my wife a Sansa Express a couple months ago, and today she called me from work to tell me her menu button is stuck. She said she can see where a corner of it is caught below the casing, but there’s no room to get a fingernail, paperclip etc. in there to try to pry it free. Are there any other little tricks she can try? If not, is it fairly safe to remove the case when she gets home? Or should we just take it back to BestBuy? Thanks in advance for whatever advice you can give.

I would rather take it to best buy or call sandisk to see if they will be as kind as to replace it. Considering you only had it for a short amount of time, one can only hope.

Taking it apart would just void the warranty on the player; which is never good.
