How do I stop the FM radio from playing

How do I get the radio to stop playing and a song to stop playing so there is nothing playing on the fuze? Any ideas?

Use the pause function. There is no stop function. Pause is the same thing as stop.

thank you.

OK, after using the ‘Pause’ function, the player continues to display “Now Playing:FM89.7MHz” even though there is no sound.  When I first turned on the Fuze (out of the box), it did not display this scrolling message at the bottom of the screen?  Thank you!

This isn’t a problem though. ignore it. the player displays what it is in the middle of when paused. It is not a problem though. it isn’t like a DVD player which has excessive wear if left in pause mode for long periods of time since the disk is kept moving. There are no moving parts in the Fuze.

Ok, thanks.  It’s just annoying.  I notice that it does the same thing with MP3s, etc.  Playing the sample Sansa video did get rid of the scroll.

That’s the only way to truly ‘stop’ it. Or you can also open up a photo then back out of it to achieve the same thing.
