This my be a really easy thing, but … no matter what I push, or rotate, it still will say at the bottom of the screen “now playing…”. Even if I turn off the player, and turn it back on.
How do I make it stop?!

Press the top of the scroll wheel (12 o’clock). That’s the PAUSE/PLAY button. There actually is no stop.
FYI . . . this button also works as a MUTE button when using the FM Radio.
