Bought this couple weeks ago, after install, I choose the password encryption mode, however I forgot the password now, so only my PC has the password record and only able to open the drive only on my PC, is there a way to reset the whole password security?

Please be informed that SanDisk products are plug and play devices that can be used to store data.

Note:- Secure access will create a private vault in your drive which will help you to encrypt your sensitive data in the vault. You cannot create a password on entire drive.

this doesnt help at all. The Extreme PRO is an SSD hardrive, and Secure Access is for flash drives. I now have the same problem with my Extreme SSD. There is no discernible way to reset the password, so it seems that the hard drive is now tied to one computer for good.
Did you ever find a resolution for this? I am in this situation.
