Hi @navinprasath

If your SanDisk E61 SSD is corrupting files and the issue is getting worse, stop using it immediately to avoid further damage. Try running First Aid in Disk Utility on your Mac to check for errors. Also, test with a different cable or port to rule out connection issues.

Since the files aren’t opening even on Windows, use a windows data recovery software to scan and recover what you can. If the drive is under warranty, contact SanDisk Support for a possible replacement.

Since the issue is occurring on both macOS and Windows, I recommend testing the SSD’s health to determine if it’s failing. For your MBP, try using Disk Utility to check for errors (and run ‘First Aid’ if needed). When you connect the SSD to Windows, you can also use CrystalDiskInfo to see if it shows signs of failure. I suggest backing up your files as soon as possible and considering the purchase of a new SSD.

On Windows, try CrystalDiskInfo (if the SSD is recognized) for signs of failure. You should know the reason of corrupt SSD, else you can use any data recovery tool to recover your data.
