My SanDisk Extreme Portable SSD 1TB is showing corrupted and I'm unable to format it. It's been less than 10 days since I bought it and more than 100 GB of my data has already been transferred but now it's not opening nor formatting.

Sounds like it’s an RMA job. And good luck sending it back, their support is useless.

If your SanDisk Extreme Portable SSD isn’t working on Windows, first check if it appears in Disk Management (press Windows + X and select it). If it does, try formatting it there.

Next, run a disk check by opening Command Prompt as Administrator and typing chkdsk H: /f /r /x (replace “H:” with your drive letter).

If that doesn’t help, try a different USB port or computer. You can also use the SanDisk SSD Dashboard to check the drive. If it still doesn’t work, contact SanDisk Support for a replacement under warranty.
