Downloaded photos wont show on Sansa Fuze.

For the first time since I bought my Sansa Fuze I downloaded photos from windows media player & when I tried to view them I got the message “unsupported media format” What should I do?

Convert them to a supported format?

Seriously, what is the format of the photos? Jpg’s or Bmp’s will work; all others won’t. And despite opinions & statements to the contrary, size matters! :stuck_out_tongue:

It doesn’t make ay sense to load a humongous image onto a device with a screen size of 176 x 220 pixels. And it can prevent the Fuze’s wee brain from being able to interpret and display it. Anything over 300 x 300 is overkill and you’re wasting a lot of valuable real estate (memory space). Also, JPG images have to be regular 'ol garden variety .jpg only; no progressive or enhanced nonsense.

And I would simply drag & drop your photos from your computer to the Fuze (preferably in MSC mode) and leave WMP out of the equation altogether.

Agreed…WMP is almost as much of a fail as SMC.:stuck_out_tongue:
