Do I need .exe file?

I have a new 16gb Cruzer with secure access. Used it many times and to back up a pc that I sent out for repair. Plugged it into a new laptop and now cannot access the vault. Cannot find the - runsecureaccess_win.exe file that I think I need. Am I right and if so, where can I get that file without reformatting the Cruzer? I need the data on it.

Seems like you’re trying to access the drive on a Windows7 puter.

To access the files, use your drive in a non Windows7 puter.  BackUp the files to another plain flash drive. 

Reformat drive.

Then update your Flash Drive with the new software to allow you to access the files on a Windows7 puter.

 

If you want to use SecureAccess, then reinstall it.

I cannot open my SanDisk USB flash drive.  I cannot find the RunSecureAccess_Win.exe file on my Toshiba laptop Windows 7 computer.

I doesn’t exist on your computer, it exists on the USB flash drive.

If you cannot open your USB flash drive I suspect there is a security setting on your pc that’s restricting access to USB drives.
