I had a clip plus it worked fine.then the volume would not turn up after I turned it down. no big deal went back to best buy to return it and did they gave me a new one in exchange whick I thought was great.Guess again the radio function on the last three i exchanged do not work.I can not add one preset it goes throught the motions like it’s scaning but when i go to check the presets there is not a single one.It empty.I just keep bringing then back in the hopes I get one that works right.I don’t know how much longer they will let me do this.I f any one here has any sugestions for me i thankyou.Funny my first 4 gig clip plus use to scan it at least 15 stations the last three can’t scan a one.Any help on dealing with these clowns at best buy would be a great help.maybe sansa could send me one that has been tested and works like it’s supposed to and I’ll return the broken one with the bad tunner.Please i need help here i lived off the fm radio!
yep another forum where everyboby is walking around in circles **bleep**ing them slefs with no help in site for anyone with a real problen.Does any one know the direct support line for sansa and the junk they sell.I need to talk to someone about this POS player and whay three in a row have no radio to speak of.Don’t buy sansa go wit hsomething that has been proven to work!If they can’t fix this I will never buy another product from them ever again no matter if I need it or not.
Gosh . . . you waited a whole 5 hours. This isn’t a live chat board you know. This is a user’s forum. Obviously, the lack of response in that short time means no one happened across your post that had any information for you, or they would have responded. It can sometimes take days for just the right person to come along that may have help for you.

sorry people.This was the first thing I bought in a long time that actually worked perfectly while it lasted.I took great care not to drop or bump this thing and the up voulume broke.this tells me it was a cold solder joint.As fas as what happened to the fm radio who knows but I am just about a mile away from the strongest radio station in the state and it will not even pick it up on the scan funtion. what gives?I went back and tried at least 12 of these dam things trying to find one that worked right.Not one did.I wish I could get my money back from best buy so I could buy something that has been proven to work over time.the only thing best buy will do is give me a replacement which would be great if the dam thing worked but they do not.There is nothing that any one can do at this point.the only thing I can do is leave a nasty post so others do not fall into the web of bull and a waste there time.The mp3 player works fine but if you want fm get something else.If you want something thats lasts get something else.I hope I save some time and trouble for those that bother to look before they leap

Just a thought . . . you know that the ear/headphones serve as the antenna for the FM radio, don’t you? If you’re trying to scan for stations (either at home or the customer service counter at Best Buy), and you don’t have the earphones plugged in and the cord extended, you will not pick up or receive any stations, even if you’re standing on top of the transmitting tower.
Also, make sure that your FM Settings are set correctly for your geographical location. US uses different (odd) frequencies from Europe (even).
It seems very odd and unlikely that you would encounter a dozen players with the exact same dysfunction.
You know what tapeworm you might be on to some thing.I noticed the ear phones are different than the fist clip I had.I’m going to try a different set and see what happens.Maybe it’s that simple.
