Clip+ Not Recognized By PC ?

Each and every time I connect my Clip+ to my Win7 laptop it is not recognized. I have to go to device manager delete and re-install the driver for it to show up in Win7.  This works until the next time I need to connect it ?  Am I just doing something wrong ?

Is there any way around this ?

I believe it happened in MSC as well. Though honestly I dont remember. I’m trying out Media Monkey at present and set it to MTP as that seemed to work best.

Is this a common problem when using MTP mode ?

This may be off the mark as I am no techie but when my device wasnt recognized by my computer anymore it was the usb cable gone bad although it would still charge.

Just to add…  after working with this for a while, it only seems to happen in MTP mode. Haven’t (yet) had the same issue while connecting in MSC mode.
