Can't see songs or access them on computer with USB cable

Hi

I have a Sansa m240. I use Windows XP.

I want to delete songs so I connect up to my computer with the USB cable.

I deleted all the songs and playlists that were displayed but on the mp3 screen it says I have 99 songs and plays them. How can I access those songs that are on the mp3 in order to delete them ?

I looked in the online manual where it says I can delete them using Windows Media Player. In WMP I can see some of the songs but WMP won’t let me delete songs from a device.

Any idea anyone ?
