My Fuze broke. T,T the screen is all white, but the sound and wheel and everything else works. What should i do? Ive sent Sansa 2 emails already for the last 2 weeks. no reply. Should I call them and settle this through phone? Help me please!
- Have you searched the forum for this problem?
- Do you think you are so unique that not a single person on the entire planet that has ever owned a Fuze has never ever seen this problem before?
- Did you even see the “FAQ Read this before posting” thread?
- It’s obvious that you didn’t read it, please explain why you ignored it? Ignorant? Arrogant?.. something else?

Ouch hazza. Have a heart >< his device is broken. play nice ><
I am sorry, I was not expecting answers such as these. I expected answers that were kind and understanding, as you said, many other people have went through problems like these. Also, It is possible i might have missed the FAQ and such.I am human, and I do make mistakes…
I have sent a final, and third email to Sansa. Hopefully, three times is the charm.
I think your question was fine . You came to an appropriate place to ask the question and microSansa has the best answer for you. Hope you get your Fuze fixed soon
Only problem is I didn’t get my fuze from Sandisk site. Is that still okay? I got it from Costco, which worries me,

I think you’ll be tken care of by Sansa - if you call them on the phone and it’s within the 1 year warranty period. But doesn’t Costco have a great customer satisfaction guarantee. I’d call them on the phone. You might be able to swap one out on the spot without dealing with Sansa customer service at all.
Good luck.
I was thinking of trying that, but any Costco within a 70 miles from my house does not have the Fuze. my fuze was special, i got it on Black friday near thanksgiving. One of the only times where costco sold the fuze, especialy a black 8gb one.

No worries! You’ll find that SanDisk is quite helpful with this kind of issue. They’re set up to handle difficulties in person, via telephone best. Give them a call when you get a chance.
For service, you don’t have to purchase from the Sansa Store, any authorized vendor is fine.
The factory warranty covers your Sansa for one year. The simplest method is a direct exchange, but getting a Return Merchandise Authorization is quite simple. Register your device via the method above, and they can send you the link for a printable UPS label. SanDisk even pays the shipping both ways, now how cool is that?
By calling Support, they can walk you through a few test steps, and then they can start the return process immediately. That’s why an eBox is important, it gives you a case number and everything, including the link to print your RMA label.
I’ve run through the process myself, and it goes pretty quick.

Sansa will help regardless of where you bought it. Now with regard to your screen, Lets try a few things,Start with 1 and as things dont help move on to the next option:
- Slide the power switch up and hold it for 15-20 seconds
2 Plug it in to the pc and reinstall the Firmware.
- Call Sandisk because your screen is gone. (This is sounding like the the way it acts when the screen goes bad)
thanks, but Im not sure what the ebox is, can you make the summary shorter and explain shorter, and more simpler. i’m tired and busy
Hold on Mc, here come the links…
Let me test this…I’m trying a new trick…
Okay, click on this Support Link, then click on the support Registerlink that looks like the one above.

When you say the screen is white? Can you give more details? Is it actually broken? Is it white while its turned on? Is it white when its turned off? Just curious.
