So I have had the snasa fuze version1 for about a month now with no problems. I’ve babied it and everything, but this morning I go to turn it on and I get the dreaded “white screen of death”, but not only does it have a white screen, there is a red streak, like if some slashed into skin. I’ve tried reseting it, and when I do, it only turns on back to the white screen. I have also tried re installing the firmware, and I still get the white screen.
Has anyone else experienced this and been able to fix it?
I have the same problem did you ever get you isssue resolved?
Both of you, please see my response to Jennie’s duplicate post in the FAQ board.
Yeah that is probably what I’m gonna do.
Although I did do a search and read most posts, I wanted to see if anyone else had an opnion since I ordered this thing from Israel and I live in Japan. Just a little sad that this thing died on me since I have invested on a really nice amp, and an LOD which arrived the day that the white screen of death appeared:(

If you can wait for the Firmware. I have seen this fix the problem. Upgrade the firmware and then format the fuze.
wasn’ the firmware supoosed to come out with in the month??
I mean I do have all the time since it would probably take at least another month before I would be able to receive a new one, but that’s another month.
If the firmware is able to fix it that would be awesome. I have tried installing the older firmware using a zip file and opening it right up into the sansa player, but that did nothing.

Firmware is Due out by Tuesday.
Hopefully it fixies it, but like I have stated, I have tried installing older firmware with no luck.

Not today… there must have been an issue. I expect we will hear tomorrow when it will be here.
