I want to record MP3 files from computer talk shows on my HP desktop with XP and Media Player 11,then transfer to the sansa Fuze and play them back.I do not need the albums, videos, just the playlists. Some how I deleted all the folders. On the Sanas Fuze, all I have is the FM radio with no way to get to the playlists.
I see references to Settings, and Format,in the forums but I don’t see them on my PC.
I didn’t register with Rhapsody because all I want is talkshows, not songs.
What do I do to get the playlist folder on the screen of the Sansa Fuze?

Not sure how you did this, but if you format the player and re-load thefirmware, you should be back in business. (I assume since you left out the + you have one of the original Fuzes)
First of, let me ask you . . . and please don’t be offended, but when you say you only have FM on your Fuze’s screen, you do know that to see other options (Music, Videos, Photos, Recordings, FM, Settings, etc.) you just need to turn the scroll wheel, right? Alternatively, you can use the right & left buttons (3 & 9 o’clock on the wheel) to scroll between Main menu options. Others here have made the same error by not knowing how the player worked.
If this isn’t it (only FM in the window), then to format the player, push the sliding power switch on the side down to the furthest position to put it on HOLD. You’ll see orange under the button. Now press & hold the REW |<< and plug the Fuze’s cable into the bottom of the unit. The USB end should already be plugged into your computer. This procedure ‘forces’ MSC connection mode on the player. Continue holding the REW button (left side of the scroll wheel) until It comes up in Windows Explorer as 2 drives, each with their own drive letter. The 1st one will be the player; the 2nd drive letter will be the SC card slot. This occurs whether there’s a card inserted or not. You should be now able to right-click on the player’s drive and select Format… (don’t use the Quick Format option).
After the formatting is done, see if you can see more than the FM on the display now. If not, and you want to re-load the firmware, follow the manual instructions in the Fuze Firmware post. One, or both of these procedures should fix your problem.
