White Screen

Hi,

When I power on the fuze, a white screen is displayed only.  The fuze is still accessable through the computer, but I obviously can’t listen to my music with the fuze disconnected.  I’ve already tried the soft reset.  Then I tried to download the firmware, but there was an error in downloading it (I retried to download a couple of times with no luck).  Then I formatted the device.  I still have a white screen.  Does anyone have any ideas?
Thank you!

Type what you put as your Subject into the search box and you’ll find many, many others have had this same issue. Some were able to solve it, some weren’t.

If nothing you find changes anything, then the only sensible thing to do is call:

I agree with tape worm try to do some of the steps and if not if your device is still under warranty and no physicall damaged you can call sandisk and ask for replacement.

Edited the “monster” link to save your sanity.  Hope this helps.  The page spanned out for some distance.  How did you get such a crazy entry?  µsansa

Please, if you’re going to post a link at least do it properly. And if it’s 5 miles long like the one you posted here is, tie it to another word or something like Link.

It took me 2 hours to scroll sideways far enough to see the end of that URL.

It took me 2 hours & 37 minutes to scroll sideways far enough to see the end of that URL and find the REPLY button.
