Which Speaker ?

Hiya,

Just purchased a sansa clip + and would like to play through speakers. I’ve tried 3 different portable powered speakers that should be universal connecting via 3.5mm jack to jack cable. The output is extremely low even though the speakers and clip are at the highest volume.

Any help would be much appreciated

Do you have the player set to HIGH volume?

Do you have the player set to HIGH (as opposed to NORMAL) volume in the Settings Menu?

Are you sure you are plugging the plug all the way in? The jack on the Clip+ is very tight when new, and a bit of force is needed to get it all the way in.

Have looked in settings  & have’nt got high or normal option there.

Checked & jack is fully in.

Then you must live in Europe, or have Europe selected as your ‘region’. The EU imposes a volume restriction on these devices to protect you from yourself.

Problem sorted. It’s just another case of European bureaucracy. 

Heaven forbid that people should be able to make there own choices !
