What am I doing wrong?

I am trying to uninstall all SanDisk info from my computer (the darn thing does not work anyway).  I cannot uninstall it even by going into the control panel.  I just keep getting the message “Please close SanDisk Secure AccessManager prior to uninstalling”.

Can someone tell me what it is that I need to close.  There is nothing open because nothing is working!

secure access manager is a service that runs in the background to detect when the drive is inserted. you will need to stop that service first. you can use the task manager to stop the process then uninstall the program.
