Variation on the White Screen of Death- Sansa Fuze.

I’m getting the white screen of death, but my problem is unique in this way: I can turn on my Fuze, browse my menu, and get into the subsections of the menu, for example, Mian Menu>Settings>System Settings, but when I click an option, say, format, the white screen comes up, my Fuze restarts, and the screen freezes on the logo screen.  Help, please :slight_smile:

Sounds beyond any user-initiated help (reset, format, firmware re-install, etc.). I would take, or send it back if you’re within your dealer’s return window. If not, call SanDisk directly for a probable RMA replacement if it’s less than 1 year old.

Iteresting freeze there.  Do you know if yours is a revision 2 Fuze?  The firmware version will start with “02”.

You can try resetting the Fuze by holding the power switch in the ON position for 20 seconds or so, then try powering up again.
