Hi - My ultra 32GB shows 24gB used space…even though the disk is empty. Cannot identify these files and have checked integrity etc-all fine.
Running on a PC with W7 and an iMac.
I need to know how to free up this supposedly used space please.

Format it (FAT32).
Can you run an ATTRIB command for the drive? ie from a Command Prompt run ATTRIB F: where F: represents the drive letter of your flash drive. Change it to what you actually have for the drive. Curious as to what’s occupying the space.
Is the flash drive new?
Is reformatting also an option for you? Try doing it if possible.
There’s that pesky echo again!
