U3 Cruzer won't work in Win 7

Hello,

I have a U3 Cruzer  that works fine on my XP PC. It is password protected.

When I try to use it on my laptop with windows 7, it recognizes the flash being inserted but doesn’t go to the “U3 initializing”  or ask for a password.

For Windows 7 64 bit run the U3 Launcher in Vista Compatibility mode.

Thanks for the clarification. I always thought that this was just a bug in Vista.

How do you run it in Vista Compatibility mode?

RIGHT click on the .exe, click on Properties, click on the Compatibility tab, click on the box for “Run this program in compatibility mode for:”, select the Vista SP2 option, click on the Apply button, click on the OK button.
