This is the first time I have taken the disc from the package.  I read and followed the directions, can find no reference to this issue in the FAQs.

The purpose of the SanDisk was to save my genealogy files, I don’t necessariy need/want to use the “vualt” can the disk be used without it?

This is the message I get when trying to add a folder to the SanDisc Ultra.   Under “get info” on the Mac it tells me there are 865MB in the folder.  The SanDisk is a 32 GB disc.

Yes. And you’ve posted in the wrong board. This one is for the Ultra SSD (solid state drive), NOT a flash drive. :wink:
