SSD Vault empty/not functional

I logged into my vault on my Mac and it no longer shows my files, just “USB Flash Drive” listed. When I double-click it, I get an error message that reads “This vault could not be loaded, it may be located on another computer or the original vault file has been manually removed.”

All the functions are greyed out an unavailable, as well (such as creating a new folder). Did the drive just ■■■■ out? I had a bunch of pictures saved in the vault that I appear to no longer be able to access.
