Spanking New Device Showed Half Full Battery - Is Still Not Charged After 2 Hours?

How long does a half full battery actually TAKE to charge? It’s been 2 hours and counting. Can Sandisk not put something in the firmware to allow for some kind of guage indicator on the battery icon so that we know if it’s 10%, 30% - 100%? Sure would take out all this guessing.

Thanks for the help.  Would be nice to actually starting to ENJOY this player instead of trying to figure out every little nuance…:confused:

A full charge can take around 3 hours.  I depends a lot on how much power your USB port puts out.  For example, many notebooks don’t put out full USB power, especially when on battery.  Wall chargers typically charge faster.

The little battery icon gives you an indication of the progress.  The flashing portion is the amount remaining.  When it stops flashing it’s fully charged.

Hmm. The V2 Clip actually CAN tell you how full the battery is in percent. At least under Settings > System Info.
