Songs displayed in other languges - why are the names displayed backwards?

  1. Hey guys, I just bought a new Sansa Fuse (2GB). After I uploaded some songs with hebrew file names and ID3 tags, and tried to play the songs, it displayed the names all messed up, in a reverse order.

for example, if I had a song called “life”, it would display it as “efil” (only in the hebrew language).

How do I resolve this?

  1. Is it important to upgrade the firmware? It’s a bran new Fuze and I haven’t yet. Can it resolve the Issue of the displaying song names in a reverse order?

And if it’s important, where can I find the newst Firmware?

Thanks in advance guys!

The new firmware is in the sticky notes near the top of the forum page, along with instructions on installing it.

It’s cleverly disguised under the name “Sansa Fuze Firmware Update.”

Do it manually, or uninstall the updater after doing it automatically. There are so few updates you really don’t need your computer checking with SanDisk every time you connect.

Whether or not it fixes your problem, it’s got lots of other useful goodies.

That sounds like the way it’s supposed to work, actually. I believe that Hebrew is written right-to-left.

Try to upgrade it first. It should solve the problem
