I have a 4 gig fuze which I enjoy enormously and has never given me any problems for the year and a half that I have it. Today it started skipping as I was listening to an audio book. I switched to music, podcasts, radio but the skipping continued. I turned it off and on a few times. I still have the problem. Any suggestions?
Push the phone jack tighter in.

I assume you meant the end of the wire that hold the earbuds.
I actually did two things. I charged the battery as well as disconnected the earbuds and reconnected them.
I am delighted that I got a response so quickly from a human who speaks English .
