My new Sansa fuze 8gb was the last one in stock at circut city ( i know they’re going out of business) and it was a display model. Unfortunately it starts to play a song for 2-3 maybe even 4 seconds and then freezes for about maybe 90 milliseconds. Would it be as simple as the earphones being “stupid”? I want to know if anyone can help me with this problem. Can it be fixed, or is it toast?
What type of files are you trying to play on it, and where did you get it (the file or files)?
It could be as simple as a ‘bad’ rip from a CD. Re-ripping could solve it.
It also could be an improper or un-supported format.
It could be corrupted.
It could be a bad ID3 tag.
So you see there are a lot of “could be’s”. Give us some more info & we’ll be in a better postion to advise.
And I doubt that it’s toast, so relax.
