Sansa Media Converter download fails

I’ve tried twice to download Sansa Media Converter through the updater twice and it’s failed at the end both times. What gives?

There’s an error message that winks past too quickly for me to see it

My Fuze is connected at the time \If that’s important.

The thing is a fairly big download. If there isn’t an easy way to get the thing on to my computer,I’m inclined to skip it even if it means not playing videos on my Fuze.

the download is a little over 100MB. the sansa will have to be connected in order for the firmware updater to offer you the download. i just tested and was able to download no problem. in the release notes it says some proxy servers and firewalls are not supported so that may be the issue. unfortunately the only way to download it is via the firmware updater.
