Sansa m250 and audible.com question

Hello,

does anyone if there is a way for me to make audible.com files work on my m250?

If so, how do i do it? (and please xplain it in very easy terms…lol…i’m not savy with technology. :cry:)

How can i turn audible’s aa files, in mp3 files?

I’ve tried to look for converter programms but the only ones i found cost too much money.

Can i download the books straight from audible.com as mp3 files?

I think m series supports .AA files, so assuming you’re licensed to play them you can probably just add them.

If Audilbe is supported on this model (and I don’t think it is), then you would need to use Audible’s software and MTP mode on your player in order to transfer the DRM-encrypted files and licences over.

Check Audible’s website and see if the m200 series is in the list of supported players.

Audible does support the m200 series but when i try connect my m250 with the aduible manager , i get this message : " To support Audible on your device, you need to upgrade your device’s firmware."

Then i click OK and get transfered to this site: http://www.sandisk.com/products/sansa-music-and-video-players.aspx

and then i’m stuck. When i type in m250, nothing comes up.

Any tips on what to do next?

(told ya i’m not tech savy. lol )

What firmware do you have on the player now?  It sounds like you might need to update it.

It probably says somewhere in the software.

I downloaded the Sansa Updater , updated my m250 , uploaded the audio books and VOILA! - it works !!! Woohooo :smileyvery-happy:
