I have a 1 year old Sansa SanDisk m240 MP3 player that I haven’t used in about six months. Prior to that, the only thing I ever did on it was download one book, and it worked fine.
Now it’s completely dead, it won’t turn on, it doesn’t respond to any of the controls, nothing. The only it will do is when I plug it in the computer using the usb cable, I get a message on it (first message I’ve even seen on the screen) that says ‘initializing’ and it just stays that way. the controls all remain dead.
I’ve tried with a battery, without a battery, etc. nothing works.
any ideas or suggestions are welcome!
